The Global Criminology Conference
The Global Criminology Conference 2025 marked a historic milestone as the first criminology conference in the region. Bringing together leading scholars, practitioners, and policymakers from around the world, the conference explored the evolving relationship between technology, youth, and crime. Through keynote addresses, paper sessions, workshops, and high-level discussions, the conference fostered rigorous academic exchange, practical insight, and meaningful dialogue — reinforcing KICRA’s commitment to advancing criminological knowledge and public understanding on a global stage.

Cybersecurity Awareness Month
In observance of the Global Awareness Month Against Digital Crime, KICRA is led a campaign of expert-led panel discussions aimed at advancing public awareness and promoting responsible digital citizenship. Guided by KICRA’s academic leadership and vision, the initiative unites experts in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and law to confront the evolving challenges of the digital age. In collaboration with the Youth Public Authority, the campaign extends its reach across educational and professional sectors, reinforcing national efforts toward a safer and more informed digital society.

Red Line Forum
In recognition of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, or World Drug Day, KICRA hosted the Red Line Forum under the patronage of Kuwait’s Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, H.E. / Mr. Abdulrahman Badah Al-Mutairi. The event brought together leading voices in the fight against drug abuse, featuring five distinguished guest speakers: the Director of Kuwait’s Addiction Treatment Center, a recovered addict, a community activist, an academic, and a psychiatrist. The forum gathered an audience of academics, specialists, civil society members, and youth, fostering open dialogue and collaborative strategies to address drug-related challenges in Kuwait.
