As a private, non-governmental entity, KICRA is dedicated to enhancing public safety and advancing academic and policy-based responses to crime. Through a multidisciplinary approach that blends regional insight with global best practices, KICRA drives innovation in criminological research, early intervention models, and public education. KICRA serves as a hub for scholarly exchange, bringing together researchers, practitioners, and institutions dedicated to advancing criminological knowledge and fostering a safer, more informed society.

Public Engagement

KICRA hosts its Annual Criminology Conference every December, uniting regional and international academics to address evolving challenges in criminal justice. Alongside this, KICRA runs public awareness campaigns on pressing issues.

    Dr. Khaled S. Al-Rashidi is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Law at the College of Law, Kuwait University. He holds an LLB from Kuwait University (2010), an LLM in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice from the University of Leeds (2016), and a PhD in Counter-Corruption Laws from the University of Leeds (2020).

  • Dr. Fahad Aldosari

    Distinguished Expert

    Retired Lieutenant General Dr. Fahad Ibrahim Al-Dosari is a distinguished forensic science and law enforcement professional who advanced to senior leadership roles in the Ministry of Interior, including Director General of Forensic Evidence and Investigations. He has lectured and trained widely on crime scene investigation, arson, and explosives, and authored influential books on physical evidence that serve as key references in regional police academies and universities.

  • Dr. Muaath Almulla

    Criminal Law Expert

    Dr. Muaath Al-Mulla is an Associate Professor of Criminal Law at Kuwait International Law School and a retired Brigadier from Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences. He holds a PhD in Criminal Law and is a certified international trainer with wide experience in criminal law, cybercrime, human rights, and digital justice. Dr. Al-Mulla has published extensively, delivered specialized training for legal and security professionals, and participated in international conferences on law and emerging technologies.
